Doctor
Mindi Kavanaugh, O.D.
Dr. Mindi Greene Kavanaugh, TAMU Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of ‘94, is a Therapeutic Optometrist with a special interest in ocular disease, pediatrics, contact lenses, as well as LASIK and cataract care. Dr. Kavanaugh is originally from Ennis, Texas. She was a graduate of the Texas Academy of Math and Science at the University of North Texas. She then attended Texas A&M University where she graduated with a degree in Biology. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Houston where she completed externships at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, as well as Houston Eye Associates, where she did two pediatric ophthalmology rotations. She also completed an externship rotation at Vision Souce under Dr. Bruce Wick in Houston, Texas, with a concentration on strabismus and vision therapy.
Greene Eyes was established in Bryan/College Station in 2001 where Dr. Kavanaugh has been providing eyecare to the B/CS area for over 22 years.
In her free time, Dr. Kavanaugh enjoys reading, traveling and is a big fan of Aggie football. Her husband, Ray, is a teacher and football coach at A&M Consolidated High School. She has six children and three grandchildren with whom she enjoys spending time, and attends Grace Bible Church.
